It is a colorless transparent liquid with a boiling point of 210°C (lit.) and a melting point of 20°C (lit.).

III. Applications
Mainly used as an electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries. It forms a better-performing SEI film, creating a dense structural layer without increasing impedance, preventing further electrolyte decomposition and improving the low-temperature performance of the electrolyte.
