This product is a white or off-white powder. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, dimethyl sulfoxide, acetone, dichloromethane, acetonitrile, etc.; readily soluble in methanol, ethyl acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone, etc.; insoluble in non-polar organic solvents such as ether, petroleum ether, n-hexane, n-heptane, etc. Melting point 73–75°C.
