III. Applications
As an electrolyte salt for supercapacitor electrolytes, in addition to properties such as high melting point, stable chemical structure, and wide electrochemical window, it also features comparable cation and anion radii, and higher solubility and electrochemical decomposition voltage than tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate. The electrolyte prepared with this salt has good temperature adaptability, high electrical conductivity, a more stable and reliable electric double layer, and lower leakage current. Therefore, it is increasingly widely used in supercapacitors.
