3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene, also known as 3,4-ethylenedioxy thiophene and abbreviated as EDOT, has the chemical formula C₆H₆O₂S and CAS No. 126213-50-1. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a melting point of 10.5 °C. It is slightly soluble in water, with a solubility of 2.1 g/L in water at 20 °C, and has a slightly unpleasant odor.
